2 C heavy cream
2 C whole milk
3/4 C sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Whisk ingredients together until sugar dissolves, and make in an ice cream maker according to manufacturers directions.
I love my Dad's vanilla ice cream. He has an old fashioned ice cream maker with a crank that all the Grandkids think is so cool!
