For white rice:
1 Cup white rice
1 Cup water
1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water is no longer milky water, but clear. Be sure to drain it well.
2. Add the rice and cold water to instant pot. Close the lid and turn the knob to sealing position. Pressure cook at high pressure for 3 minutes, then natural release for 10 minutes, then release remaining pressure.
3.Fluff the rice with a paddle or fork and serve!
For brown rice:
1 Cup brown rice
1 Cup water
-Place the rice and cold water in the instant pot. Place lid on the instant pot and turn knob to sealing position. Pressure cook at High Pressure for 15 minutes, and natural release for 5 minutes, then quick release.
-Fluff with a paddle or fork and serve!
I LOVE cooking my rice in the instant pot. Not only is it quick, but it always turns out just right!
