Sourdough Breakfast Casserole

Make up the night before and pop it into the oven in the morning. 
Ingredients:
8 slices sour dough bread
1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
1 cup milk
7 eggs(well beaten)
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 lbs ham (cubed)
Directions:
Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with a non-stick coating. Alternate layers of bread, cheese, and ham. Mix the eggs, milk, and seasonings, pour evenly over layers. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Uncover in the morning before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. 
Serve with ketchup.

I LOVE breakfast, but I also LOVE sleeping in. That is what makes this recipe one of my favorites, because you do all the work the night before, and can sleep in and just relax in the morning, but still have a delicious meal. I remember my Mom making this for the first time for us to eat on Easter morning. All of the flavors and textures of this just work, and i love it.
