2 egg whites, or one whole egg and one white
1/4 chopped onion
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper
6 T oatmeal
pinch of red pepper
1 T fresh sage or 1 t rubbed sage
Mix above ingredients in kitchen aid Mixer.
Spray Pam in a skillet and cook on both sides until done.
Makes 6-8.
Another recipe from my Mom. These are seriously delicious and a lot healthier than regular breakfast sausage. I have made them into both links and patties. They also freeze excellent.
