Chocolate Lava Cake

2 oz. semi sweet chocolate
4 T. unsalted butter
1/2 C. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
3 T. flour
1 T. cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Coat 2 ramekins with non-stick spray.
  3. Melt chocolate and butter in microwave until smooth.
  4. Add powdered sugar and stir.
  5. Add egg and egg yolk and mix completely.
  6. Add flour and cocoa powder and stir until incorporated.
  7. Divid between the ramekins and bake for 13 minutes until firm on the edges and jiggly in the center.
  8. Let cool for 2 minutes, loosen the cake from the edges and invert it onto a serving plate.
  9. Top with some powdered sugar. I like to add strawberries or raspberries on the side as well.
I got this recipe from the internet, but it's simple and delicious! Lava cake is one of my very favorite desserts.
