Hershey's "Perfectly Chocolate" Chocolate Cake

Cake:
2 Cups sugar
1-3/4 Cups flour
3/4 Cups Hershey's Cocoa
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 Cup milk
1/2 Cup vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Cup boiling water

Heat to 350. Grease and flour two nine inch round baking pans. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla; beat on med. speed for 2 min. Stir in boiling water. Pour into pans. Bake 30-35 min. Or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.

"Perfectly Chocolate" Chocolate Frosting:
1/2 Cup butter
3 Cups powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cups Hershey's Cocoa
1/3 cup milk

Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Alternately add powder sugar and milk, beating on med. speed to spreading consistency. Add more milk if needed. Stir in vanilla.

This makes a delicious cake, and really tasty cupcakes as well! The recipe comes from the back of the Hershey's cocoa powder.
