3/4 cup chopped onion
2 16 oz cans stewed tomatoes
2 16 oz kidney beans with liquid
1 16 0z can tomato sauce
3 cups of water
4 tsp. taco seasoning mix
Brown beef and onion. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 hrs. Top with any of your favorite taco toppings: sour cream grated cheese diced green onions guacamole broken tortilla chips.
This recipe is from my sister Melissa! This one is so dang easy and make enough for left overs. This soup also freezes really well for a quick meal on a busy day.
