Earthquake Cake, or Upside Down German Chocolate Cake

1 1/2 Cups pecans
1 1/2 Cups coconut
1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 T butter
8 oz cream cheese
3 Cups powder sugar

Grease and flour a 9x13 pan-do not spray.

Chop pecans, and spread in bottom of pan. Sprinkle coconut over nuts. Mix German chocolate cake mix as directed. Pour over nuts & coconut. In medium saucepan, melt butter, and cream cheese. To this, add: powder sugar, 1 cup at a time, mixing well. Pour evenly over cake batter before baking.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. to 1 hour. Cake is done when it pulls away from sides.

I love how quick and easy this cake is to throw together, and it is absolutely delicious!
